She cleverly disguised her small baby bump at the People's Choice Awards last night in a stunning blue ruffled dress.

But today, Natalie Portman's pregnancy was a little more visible as the actress stepped out in some casual attire that almost resembled maternity wear.


The 29-year-old star looked relaxed in a loose tie-dye t-shirt and pink leggings as she and her mother Shelley Stevens walked her dog around Griffith Park in Los Angeles today.

The actress was accompanied by her mother, Shelley Stevens.

After her early exercise, the pair both went out to brunch.

Natalie's low key appearance was in stark contrast with her appearance at last night's Los Angeles awards ceremony where she appeared on stage with Ashton Kutcher.

The pair, who co-star in forthcoming romantic comedy No Strings Attached, were presenting an award.

And the blue ruffles of her Jason Wu dress camouflaged her stomach.

That ceremony takes place on January 16 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

She raised eyebrows when she turned up to a New Year's Eve party sporting noticeably plumper lips.

But there was something even odder-looking about Kim Kardashian less than one week after the bash.

The reality star was spotted leaving her Beverly Hills home on Thursday, sporting even fuller lips than she had had the previous week.

And while she had once again covered them in nude lip gloss, it was hard to tell whether her perfect pout was the result of overdoing the make-up, or something else entirely.

However it left her with a curious resemblance to 80s singer Pete Burns, whose own lip enhancements have been well documented in the press.

Kim, 30 accentuated her lippy look with similarly large accessories, including big sunglasses and an oversized bag, to accompany her all-black outfit.

Kim's lips looked even bigger than they had done the previous day at the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles.

And there was good news for the older sisters after their show Keeping Up With The Kardashians won the award for Best TV Guilty Pleasure.

Kim recently admitted also that she does not find herself as sexy as everybody thinks - and that she has insecurities.

She has an army of loyal listeners among the Bridget Jones generation of 30-something singletons.

Yet BBC radio presenter Lauren Laverne has criticised the growing culture of ‘freemales’ who choose an independent life over having a husband and family.

The 32-year-old BBC 6 Music host says women who delay having a family in their twenties risk never finding ‘a sense of completion’.

Despite initially being seen as a ‘ladette’, the ex-pop singer married when she was 27 and had her first child, Fergus, two years later. She gave birth to her second son, Mack, in September last year. Her husband is DJ Graeme Fisher.

But she admits her decision to start a family is in stark contrast to her friends who are not interested in settling down until they are 35.

‘I was getting married when none of my friends even lived with their boyfriends, and then I had Fergus,’ she told Red Magazine.

‘It’s great that you get to be young for longer, but the downside is people worry too much. If you’re with the right person, do it, get married, have the baby, take a leap of faith. You can’t plan everything, you can’t wait and wait and wait.

‘The nice thing now is that I have a sense of completion about my family and the future. You can only really get that when you crack on when you’re young.’

She has been in the business since before he was born, but his opinion obviously counts highly in her estimations.

So when Madonna was auditioning for dancers last night she sought the help of her 24-year-old boyfriend.

The 52-year-old singer, who was looking extremely fresh faced last night, was joined by beau Brahim Zaibat and around guests at London hotspot Aura in Mayfair.

Visitors to the exclusive members club were treated to a dancing spectacle as half of the group took to the floor to strut their stuff and showed off some incredible dance moves.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Madonna was watching the performers, who came from all around the world, and I know she was selecting for her next World tour.’

‘About half the group took to the dance floor and performed one after the other before dancing together. They were absolutely incredible.’

In her fifth visit to the club in seven months Madonna arrived with Brahaim and her entourage, complete with her own DJ ready to take to the decks, just before midnight.

And with her 24-year-old boyfriend by her side she laughed and cheered as the artists took to the stage performing to hip hop and house music.

Junior, a-19-year-old break-dancer from France wowed the guests with his award winning moves which saw him defy gravity holding his own body weight just inches off the floor with his hands.

And after the informal auditions Madonna treated her troop to drinks which included expensive jeroboams of Moet and Chandon champagne and Grey Goose Vodka.

While Madonna picked up the tab she and Brahaim did not over indulge sticking to water throughout the night.

But the lack of alcohol didn’t dampen her spirits and she got into the party mood dancing with guests and mingled with other revelers in the club.

But the night's merriment didn't seem to tire Madonna who emerged from the nightclub at 2.30am looking extremely fresh-faced.

In fact, the 52-year-old singer who seems to have defied the aging process, did not have a single line or hint of a wrinkle visible on her face.

She got into a Jaguar with Brahim and headed for home.

The pair, who had dined at Automat American Brasserie earlier in the evening, have been spotted out in London on a number of occasions over the past few months but have always avoided being photographed together.

Both mother and daughter were bundled up in thick coats with fur-trimmed hoods to ward off the cold, with Catherine holding on tight to a cup of coffee.

The Welsh native walked with Carys to the subway , where she kept a low profile thanks to her big coat and sunglasses.

And she made sure to keep her head tucked into her collar as she and Carys rode on the train.

Meanwhile husband Michael Douglas was also out and about today, wearing a giant blue coat and a knit hat as took a walk in Central Park.

The 66-year-old recently revealed he will discover this month whether his recent cancer treatment has been successful.

Doctors have told him this type of cancer has an 80 per cent cure rate.

He said: 'It certainly has put a little perspective on mortality, obviously. But as I looked through the stats, I didn’t think of this as life and death, I just saw it as an illness to get over.

‘So I didn’t dig into the bottom of my soul to see what I could see. The level of chemo, the amount they’re giving you, combined with radiation, was the max they could do in that period of time.

'It’s amazing that they almost have to try and kill you to bring you back.’

And celebrities will be no exception as they pilate and army train their way back to photo shoot fitness after the festive indulgences.

But not Jenny Frost, whose craving for a fast food dinner was duly satisfied as she hit McDonalds last night.

The former pop star looked absolutely delighted with her fast food treat as she arrived back at her hotel in Liverpool.

Clutching three big bags of food, she stopped and briefly talked to a fan outside but looked like she was in a hurry to eat her takeaway dinner.

Not that the ex-Atomic Kitten star should be too concerned about piling on the pounds from the calorific meal with her slender frame.

She said: 'It improved my energy levels but also, ironically, made me put on weight. Eventually the strict nature of the diet bored me - I love my food too much.

Paris Hilton swapped nightclubs for the great outdoors on an adventure holiday with her new boyfriend.

The 29-year-old reality TV star was spotted flying though the air on a zip-line while on a break in Mexico with her boyfriend Cy Waits.

Dressed casually in jeans, long sleeved T-shirts and trainers, both Paris and Cy, 34, appeared to be enjoying their outward bound experience as they flew through the air 50 feet above the ground strapped onto a wire by a harness.

The couple took part in the experience at the Wild Canyon Park near Cabo San Lucas, where they were enjoying a beach holiday over the New Year.

The supercar, for which the sportsman paid $100,000 in 2008, before spending a further $50,000 on customising, has a current bid of $134,000.

The LA Galaxy star even had his shirt number, 23, stitched into the leather seats, as well as engraved on the steering wheel and rims to personalise the vehicle.

However, the car is being auctioned off by California car dealership Chequered Flag, after Beckham sold it a while ago.

In addition to it's other standard functions, the Porsche has blacked out headlights, heated front seats, a six-disc CD changer and a built-in satellite navigation system.

The pair are reported to be moving back to the UK with their three sons amid speculation Beckham is set to sign with Tottenham Hotspur.

But this week she was back in New York putting on a united front with her ex-partner
Darren Aronofsky as the couple took four-year-old Henry to school for the first day of the new term.

Cambridge-educated Miss Weisz, 40, announced her split from film director Aronofsky, 41, in November, although they had separated several months before.

In a joint statement, they said: ‘We remain close friends and are committed to raising our son together in New York City.’

The pair are said to be seeking joint custody of Henry.

The Daily Mail then reported Miss Weisz had become close to Craig, 42, her co-star in forthcoming thriller Dream House.

Taylor Swift, whose Speak Now album was one of the biggest sellers of 2010, won best country artist.

Swift's award was presented by British singer Sir Elton John, a new parent with his partner David Furnish. 'Elton! Congrats to you! You're a dad now,' Swift told him, before thanking her own fans.

More than 44 awards were given out including one for best talk show host to comedian Conan O'Brien.

O'Brien was forced out of his job on The Tonight Show at the beginning of 2010, and ended the year by launching his own show on cable channel TBS.

'I want to thank everyone who made what could have been a horrible year into the best year of my life,' O'Brien said.
