9 days have passed and guess what.
I have already failed my new year resolution.
Its difficult to think of something called "marriage".
(earlier chatting with one of my schoolmate who happens to be bringing his fiancee' to penang after chinese new year to plan for their big wedding day)
when i could hardly do something as simple as updating my blog.
Marriage is all about responsibility and oh well...just to cut things short, i have a long way to go.
"Can't even update your blog!!" SPIT!!!
Anyway I had wanted to update my blog..
Really!!Yes yes reasons after reasons i know..but seriously i was waiting for pictures to write this post to get the ball rolling again. Yes yes...this post was much awaited for by me.
and so..i have finally received it, special thanks to Soon Yang who may have spent part of his working hours sending the pictures through e-mail.
So, what was new years eve like for me. (that's if you're interested in what boring people do holding boring parties in a house)
You see, back in Penang, there are just about that many places that you could go and celebrate new years eve.
This year i have managed to not be at upper penang road, where this was happening.
I also did not spent my new year eve at a very newly opened night club called MOIS which was just as happening on new years eve.
with many familiar faces that i could have met if i was there
I also did not spent my new years eve at QE2 which would have been filled with these happening people. Some that i even know...(well that was last year, hehe...just jk)
and other more rather familiar faces
and of course nothing less expected at QE2.
and things like this looking on the outside.
And of course there is the option of going to gurney drive, that is if you want to be flushed away by FRU(Federal Reserve unit) for not behaving well.
So, looking at all the pictures so far through friendsters and facebook which happens to appear so quickly showing everyone how happening their new year eve was,
YOU GOTTA CHECK OUT MINE!!hahaha..
I celebrated new years eve with a bunch of friends in my house(partly rented) who all decided to have a rather quiet new years eve and really spending quality time with one another instead of jumping from one table to another table meeting thousands of "long lost friends" at a night club.
This year we did something rather special. Something i'll always remember that we would never ever be doing in a night club.
WE HAD CHAMPAGNE! Sponsored by Benjamin and Andrew Tan.
It all felt that we were celebrating new years eve the right way. (Well at least i felt it was the right way)
Sooo, whats next, we took pictures
More pictures
Until we found out, we were over-doing the whole taking pictures with the champagne thing
Not only was there champagne, there was also a secret recipe cake which is a must for any new year party. Sponsored by Soon yang.
Hmmm..somebody had to take pictures with the cake as well which was also over-done...the things people do on the first day of new year..sigh....the specialty of the cake ended there..haha..
Now..some of you may think that most of the pretty girls would either be in QE2 or MOIS or in some other happening place for that matter that night,
Well some pretty girls decided to spend new years eve quietly as well.
All in all, looking back at the pictures of that day, I thought nobody was drunk until....
BEN WAT WERE U DOING!!!hahaha..He was trying to drink more champagne out from 2 empty bottles!!!
That was my new years eve. It was small and nice. Enjoyable it was.
Take note: some of the pictures at happening places had been taken from friends friendsters and facebook. Well, that's because i was not there to see what was happening there.
